Here are the printed notices from the City of Regina that arrived in my mailbox: (I have more to be posted, including the final notices both from the City of Regina and Neptune that my water will be disconnected if I do not comply by July 8th, 2025.)

First Notice.  Note the early reference to collecting "near real-time information about your water consumption" and the fact that a radio transmitter will be installed.

Reminder Notice  Note the emphasis that the installation of the new water meter system is mandatory. (Remember that the system includes a radio transmitter.)

Final Notice  Note the threat of penalties, which may include disruption of water service

Door Knob Hanger - July 8, 2023  The laudable goal of upgrading technology and improving infrastructure

Urgent Access Required - January 30, 2025  Note the renewed threat of penalties, which may include disconnection of service and monthly financial penalties.
